foot fetish.

"In 2006, American traveler Blake Mycoskie befriended children in Argentina and found they had no shoes to protect their feet. Wanting to help, he created TOMS, a company that would match every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes given to a child in need. One for One. Blake returned to Argentina with a group of family, friends and staff later that year with 10,000 pairs of shoes made possible by TOMS customers." [from toms.com site]

I've never been a super huge fan of Toms from a fashion standpoint, however their mission is both incredibly inspiring and uplifting. This year, they added a super cute line of wedges to their showroom... and at $69 a pop, the price is perfect too! And if you think about it from a servant's standpoint, you're basically getting two pairs for the price of one, right??

I realize the odds of a little South American girl running around in a pair of red wedges that match mine isn't quite the game they're playing here, but I still like to think that's the way they work it.

Shop Toms wedges here!

[edit: this is my 100th post!! cheers to me... cheers to you! thanks for sticking with me!!]

  2. I am obsessed with their wedges!! They're so cute!
I used to say I would NEVER own Toms because they aren't too fashionably cute... but I caved in and got myself the burlap ones and they are so comfortable! I'm obsessed!

  3. After lots of encouragement from my bro & sil (she has multi pairs, including some super cute wedges, that I tried on at her wedding last June) I finally got a pair of silver glitter toms for my birthday. Above anything else they are SO comfortable!
