festivities for the fourth.
Independence Day has long been one of my all-time favorite holidays. You've got fabulous food, family, friends, and fireworks! (how's that for alliteration?) As a bebe, the day was spent frolicking around a local craft show with my Mimi & Papa, after gorging myself on donuts. The afternoon was reserved for splashing in the river, barbecue and funnel cakes... and finally, the finale was the fireworks. Oh, exquisite fireworks.
As I've grown older, the one constant has been the firecrackers. Whether my brothers were shooting them at each other, or I was sprawled out on a lawn chair, peering at them falling around me, they are still just as magical to me as they were when I was a young'in.
This year, I'll be living it up in Nashville with the Mister... We tend to make a habit out of spending our holidays together, and I'm especially glad this one is on the list. I am ecstatic to see what Nashville will bring to an already-fabulous day!
What are your plans this Independence Day??

Have a fabulous Fourth!!!
