wedding weekend, part 2 of 3.

Words could hardly do this wedding justice. You might recall the rundown about my dear Shannan who was married to her Mister a week ago, Saturday, in the gorgeous Texas Hill Country. ST and I packed up my car and sped through the dusty back roads to soak up a weekend in one of my favorite places in the world, surrounded by some of my favorite people. It was an amazing reunion for a ton of my college girlfriends, and I am elated for Shannan and Theron. Seriously, the most personal, unique, heartwarming and enveloping wedding I've ever witnessed. It had Shan's signature style written all over every minute detail, it was full of love, so much fun.

Get ready for lots, and lots, and LOTS of photo evidence... (wedding ceremony and reception pics in next post... there are just way too many and they're all good, so I don't want to have to pick and choose). And here we go!

We began the weekend with an unbelievable dinner celebration on Thursday, in honor of our three-year "meet-iversary" at Eddie V's in Austin... complete with our favorite wine and a ridiculously good chocolate cake. Oh... and truffled macaroni & cheese. Still salivating over it all.

Friday night, weMister drove us on down...

...then kicked off the weekend with a fabulous dance hall barbecue in Sisterdale.

We gorged on barbecue then roamed the grounds at Sisterdale Dance Hall as evening set in...

...getting lost in summertime, paired with good vino and better company...

...goofing off a little like we've come to perfect...

...catching up with old friends...

...dancing the night away.

(please notice my face... he had me laughing the entire time. love him.)

...and to wrap up the night, we had our chat time with the bride & groom.

Wasn't it perfect? The quintessential Texas girl's party. Props to Shan, Theron and their families for such an inspiring party!!

...wedding post soon!
