sunday, sunday, sunday.

Sunday afternoons are so Rockwell-esque. I live for the routine of beginning a quiet morning, sipping coffee before church. A great sermon, followed by brunch/lunch--usually with friends. Then we come home to spruce up the house and maybe snugs up and nap before getting off to the gym for an hour. We return home again to cook dinner together and prep for the week. I truly love it. The perfect way to recharge before getting back to the grind.

What's your favorite part of Sunday?

  1. You pretty much just described my Sunday. I spend the afternoon with my Grandma eating her delicious, so bad for you, cooking. It's the best day of the week.

    1. Sarah, that sounds HEAVENLY. When my Mimi was still with us, that was a routine part of my Sundays, for sure... all of her fabulous baking, her chicken & dumplings, everything she made was just golden. I'm really happy you still have your Grandma to hang out with. ;) I'd give anything to have another Sunday, getting lost in the afternoon, chatting at the table with my Mimi over some sweet tea. ;)
