the dark side.

I finally ditched the ombre this past weekend in favor of a much richer look for the looming cold weather months.

I am loving the newness of it all, and definitely feel it's more seasonally appropriate than my blonde alter ego.

Do you switch up your look for different seasons? I've mostly steered away from coloring my hair, as I always loved my natural brunette state, but I'm really settling in to the dark, dark, darkness of my new look. Or my new vampy self, as my BFF has referred to it.

Another question... blondes: do you do anything darker for the fall? More lowlights? This topic intrigues me. Probably more than it should... but discuss anyway.

  1. I do opt for a more honey blonde low light in the fall. Although, I have been known to go for it and become a brunette for the fall.

  3. love this look on you. I do like switching up my look for different seasons, and this year I'm thinking of a brownish red color :)

  4. love this!

as we all know, i'm not a "nstural" blonde. for fall/winter months, i usually have my stylist put in a bunch of lowlights.

but since we are saving for ivf, i have opted to go back brunette-of some sort. this post has got me excited to do so;)
