Ahhh, Friday, we meet again. This week has been a breeze, but I am all kinds of ready for another weekend. Tomorrow, my bff and I are heading to the Farmer's Market (!!!). I plan to get a lot of reading and organizing done, maybe some baking (who are we kidding? I'll definitely be baking). ST and little man and I have a full weekend of shenanigans planned too. Gah, I live for a good weekend.
Partly because I think it's interesting and I've never done it, and partly because I'm ill-prepared for a legit Five on Friday post, I am deferring to Pinterest for my content today. Ya welcome.
Disclaimer: Everything posted today will absolutely reflect my excitement about the impending spring season.
Here are some of my favorite recent pins (linked to everyone's favorite, ridiculous time suck):
I want a bike. Specifically this bike. Nashville is such a bicyclist's dream town--I sorta feel out of the loop that I don't already own one... (you know, in order to just gather a silky layer of dust in our already crammed garage). But truly--we just discovered a greenway next to our house, and I can completely justify a purchase like this. Now, I just have to justify the necessary accessories, like a basket with which to tote Maiz to and fro.
These. OMG, these. Perfect summer sandal. Definitely will be purchasing (and maybe 12 other pair). Way to go, you socially-conscious-yet-stylish people down there at Toms.
I stumbled across this artsy little shot of a Marchesa gown, and just can't stop staring at it. That beading is just insane--the quintessential image of elegance. Marchesa is hands-down, one of my all-time favorite designers. Never seen a piece I didn't just completely love.
Inslee Haynes is just so ridiculously talented. I can stare at her gorgeous illustrations (and I have, and I do) for hours on end. This little sketch is basically the version of myself I plan to become once it warms up... sans arm party. No thanks.
But I can totally rock the aviators and oxford shoes. BAM.
I am all about being the best dog mom I can be. I have jumped all over this recipe several times in the past month. It's so ridiculously easy, and my prissy little pup loves them--LOVES them. I've even made a few batches and given them away as gifts... such a simple project--the canines deserve to be treated too, y'all.
Without further ado...
Wild Cub is a local band that I can't get enough of. Listen to this one, you won't be sorry. ;)
Have a great weekend, y'all!
